  1. Why doesn't the GS6000 allow feeding backwards?

We do it exactly the way bluefish does his d/s banners. So far we have had great success and the most it will vary is about a 1/16th on occasion but generally it is right on.

  5. Material Centering issue on GS 6000

We are having a terrible time of getting the print to center on our scrim coming off of our GS 6000. Talking to Epson about it has gotten us nowhere. When we load our media, say 38", we center it, run it from our Wasatch Rip and still have to play with our parameters. Initially, when you load...

  8. Ink control using Wasatch Rip Question

Is there as way to turn down the ink being dispensed on my Wasatch Rip? Seems like it is over inking on my Scrim which is not allowing the inks to bake on properly so that they are not very resistant to light scuffing or scratching?

  10. Scratching problems

Having a severe problem with scratching on banners printed on 13oz. Scrim. Heat is set high, but when the banners dry, if you were to rub your finger lightly across a solid it will scratch the ink. Is this normal? If not, any suggestions on eliminating the problem. I thought eco-solv was...
  11. Banner coating other than Lamination?

Were running alot of banners on 13 oz scrim with our Epson GS and am wondering if there is another way to coat them when they are finished rather than laminating them. The problem we are having with lamination is when they roll them up and then unroll them you can see the creases in the...
  12. What type of thread to sew banners

We recently decided to purchase a sewing machine for banner sewing. In the past we have always used tape to seam and it has worked just fine. One of our larger customers wanted their banners sewn so hence, the purchase. My big question is what type of thread do I need to sew the banners? Who...

  19. Graphtec 8000 question

Just got our Graphtec 8000 on line and it works great. Only having one problem with it. We are laminating Orajet 3641 with a 2 mil laminate and then trying to get it to cut labels out. Keeps tearing the material or cutting to deep or not deep enough. Do I need a different blade other than...
