We do hundreds of removals like this. Our process is as follows:
Heat gun and Yellotools orange scrapper
Rapid remover and scrap some more.
Denatured Alcohol for clean up.
If there is oxidation try Ghost Off or you may have to hire a detailer to wet sand it.
