I put my prints right from the printer to the plotter on my VJ1204. Perhaps its the vinyl... I use 3165RA and 3651 and never have that problem unless we attempt to install immediately after cutting. I've never had them pick up off the backing paper like that.

1st off Windows 8 is pretty much a Tablet OS, I would suggest get a copy Visual Studio and made a run at it yourself if you're techy enough.

Problem with Carbon Fiber is that if you stretch it to much its going to look wavy in some parts and straight in others if you stretch it to much. I wouldn't want a carbon fiber wrap to be my 1st wrap job. I also wonder how many times they burned themselves with the heat guns they were using.

Well I wouldnt use foam, I would just order plastic letters from Gemini and charge catelog price with an install of about $800. But I also own my lift and we've done it many times before. Last foam letters saw, we replaced them because birds were pecking away at them.

Comet does a pretty good job and so does Rapid Remover. Depending on if its a pan face for flat face and the budget, would really determine if its worth it to buy new or clean as good as you can.

Well if you do decide to cover in vinyl instead of paint I would cover in 48" 651. The 48" roll is actually 49.9" or something. Its cheaper and because its covering the entire board in my opinion 751 would be over kill. You could do the lettering in 751 but the background I think would be...
