    Huh?
  2. What do you think of my new logo?

Yup. If you go to any manufacturer's site you'll find 99%+ at 10:10ish When a watch is professionally presented for photography or display the hands will always be at 10:10 unless they interfere with viewing the chronograph subdials or some other watch complication.
  3. What do you think of my new logo?

None of them appear to be 4:40.
  4. What do you think of my new logo?

No Bob. 10:10. Go to any watch website and have a look. From Armitron to Zenith you'll find watches set at anywhere from 10:08 to 10:12.
  5. What do you think of my new logo?

Molly- clocks and watches are typically set to 10:10
  6. boat wrap coming up

Why not just use application tape if ease of installation is what you're after?
  7. What do you think of my new logo?

No, sorry. There are no prerequisites to be a critic of anything.
  8. Cheap Customers !

    How old are you signman2010?
  9. What do you think of my new logo?

You said, "others may have a very different opinion..." I have an opinion and it is very different than signgal's opinion of your work. What I brought to the table was a link to Dan's site where one can see a portfolio of logo designs that I consider to be "professional looking."
  10. Cheap Customers !

    :goodpost: (mosh's, that is)
  11. What do you think of my new logo?

Sorry gal but neither the original poster's design nor Fitch's are "professional looking." Seriously, looks at Dan's site and then look at these two examples and tell me either of them are "professional looking."
  12. Latex ink for your Roland, Mutoh, Mimaki

I'm curious how "green" the production of latex inks actually is. Is it natural or synthetic latex? I'm even more curious how people with a latex allergy will react to this ink.
  13. Seamless production tables??

If you're covering the top with a mat why would it matter if the top was made of 50 joined pieces?
  14. Wrong cuts wasting tons of money!!

I've never used more than 2 pinch rollers. I know my machine came with extra rollers but after 2 years I couldn't tell you where they are.
  15. what would cause this type of banding on an sp-300v?

That's what I'm seeing. I don't see any "banding" in the pics. I see a few sections of the media that were printed with less ink than other sections. Looks like ink starvation just like the sample pics here. AFAIK, "banding" is what happens when your head passes either overlap the previous...
  16. S101 Forum Ads

You're right. The sky is falling. Godspeed. My argument was that I don't care if the public knows my costs. You did not lose those jobs because the potential client knew your costs. You lost them because a wholesaler did not respect their resellers and sold directly to the...
  17. S101 Forum Ads

Oh, the drama. If you don't want to sell your signs for $1 then don't do it. I couldn't give a rat's ass if my customer knew my costs. Every one of them knows it costs $.25 to make a cup of coffee but they're paying $3 a cup at Starbucks. I really don't think there is anything to worry about...
  18. contour cut vinyl started to curl overnight??

    I didn't know that. I guess I've been lucky!
  19. what would cause this type of banding on an sp-300v?

Looks like ink starvation. Search the term.
  20. Fast Signs

Have you considered calling them? Their clients think they are a "real sign shop," and that's really all that matters.
