Aside from all the full color printers out there for running large 4:4 full color jobs could anyone recommend (or do we have any merchants here in this area) who do this sort of work. I currently have to sub my work out to a few different companies to be able to have all the specialty print jobs...
Love it, worth every penny. I was able to get very good pricing through NAPP so I purchased as part of a package as the i1 bundle and Profilemaker 5 Platinum as well as the color checkers and SpectaLight III Light Booth (i do a lot of Photography as well which was one of the main reasons for all...
As its already been said, yes it will work (if you configure the settings properly and it wasnt this way from the factory) most new servers (even basic ones) are all dual ethernet ready and even the midrange to high end home computer market are leaving the factory with dual ethernet.
Are you referring to the shields shape, the badge, banner ribbon etc? if so sure...look through the express clipart gallery here or google Vector Art by Holmes & Cottrell. Or send that to the vector doctor and have him vectorize it.
I have been using that a lot since they started the beta project of it for exactly that...brainstorming. It uses the images similarity to build a hierarchy and searches its metadata for likeness' the more you keep clicking through the more it will narrow your search. Its surprisingly fast too.
Like this correct? Most of the times I see a vehicle used in a brochure or flyer (usually in the car detailing/auto boutique business) they just blur or remove the logos so they aren't standing out because they usually don't have the written consent to use them nor have any affiliation with that...
I see so much fantastic work on a daily basis do I rarely get really excited...but wow, the next business trip I make out to Chicago (its only like an hour and 45 mins right?)...worth the rental car.
Depending on your machine. On our SII 104-S the stock profile was terrible looking for it so we made our own and it looks fantastic now, however for the SII 64s it looked great from the start as well as on the HP/Scitex XL1500. Hit or miss with stock profiles.
LoL thats the typical salesman move. To start printing...yeah...you really don't have to do any color management, however...when it comes time to start matching colors you will be in a world of trouble. Not to mention the more familiar you are with your printer when it comes to setting ink...
Your a step ahead of most people then buying a digital printer. Most forget about this crucial step. Here are a few links worth browsing through.

(don't need to purchase the tools they push, but it has some valuable links)...
Calibrating the monitor is useless if your input and output devices are not properly calibrated as well. Not trying to pick an argument but I have seen this in every Photoshop/NAPP event I have attended where they briefly touch a subject, push a product for a quick sale and leave it at that...
Here is a link to all the main micro-stock sites and their "extended license" options (links in blue). I would read very carefully because what goes for one site does not always apply to the other site (and sometimes the same files are on both sites).
Very busy with our larger clients (chain restaurants, retail stores, and liquor companies) walk in customers...very slow...but we never really depended on them it was just busy work and extra cash flow. With the holidays passing and more coming up our other sales have been extremely well.
