I tint windows for a living as well.. I use a window film solution that is "film on" it works really good.. Easier to pull up and re apply if needed and dries out not much longer than alcohol, but waaay quicker than baby shampoo. $10 for a quart bottle .. I have only used about 5 quarts this...

Honestly If they are looking to attach a rider to a sign I sell them a sign stand that has a rider section.. the flopping around in the sign stand is nothing.. it sounds bad when they are carrying them to their car, but once they are put up you never really notice that the rider is leaning...
