I would have gone latex, but my print room is small.. the thing would fry me... and the climate control isnt all that great either.

Update: I have decided to go with solvent. I'm deciding between the Mimaki jv300-160 or the Mutoh 1638x. Both seem comparable, so it will likely come down to financing options. I am leaning toward the Mimaki since i am most comfortable in that ecosystem. I also get the idea that the Mutoh...

Hmm, what about Mimaki vs HP? Ive been tempted to keep the 54" Mimaki for print and cut jobs, and using the latex for banners.... do the new mimaki's use the old rasterlink rip?

replaced the new slider board with my original one. it booted. So, im on borrowed time i guess.

New update. Replaced the slider board. Now it gives me error 200, head memory error. No idea what I am going to do now. Havent been able to get work done in a week and have a large sign order looming.

Unplugged it and plugged it in about 10 times... it finally booted. It just gets weirder and weirder.

Replaced both the Cyan and Magenta dampers. Cap, and pump. Still getting a color fade from beginning of 10 ft print to the end. It starts darker and fades lighter.

Swapped cartridge, printed 20 feet... same result... lightens up over the print. So that's out. Guess ill order a capping station, pump, and dampers tomorrow.
