    the encoder strip is very clean and it has a new encoder sensor. why would the encoder strip cause over spray on a test draw? and why only on one head? (just curious)

    i am doing a overnight head soak, i bought this machine used in "working condition" so far ive had to replace 3 heads in it. and 1 out of the 3 heads was defective, it had over spray only on variable-2 dot size then the head caused all the other heads not to fire.. replaced that defective head...

  10. JV3 250SP - Time for major maintenance!

    i have replaced the motherboard in the jv3-160sp, it is the same board in the jv3-250sp along with the jv3-75SPII. it is not hard all that hard to switch out you will just have to redo all the calibrations and if the new board has a newer firmware 3.3+ i think you will need chips for the bulk...

    update on issue (fixed) the issue is fixed it turns out it was a bad head... later on the same head caused none of my heads to fire replaced the head and all fixed! Thanks everyone, Spencer

    this is happening on a mimaki jv3-160sp more problems with the printer this one i have no idea on i have tried everything.. all the calibrations are perfect tried different rips even.. when printing at variable 2 dot size so 720x720 or higher.. the magenta head over sprays like crazy 2 inches...
