it there were something on the head itself wouldn't the powerful clean take care of that?

yes, I have dogs and I have to clean around the heads quite often.. but I cleaned them twice last night and did a powerful clean today, still a little "fuzzy" when printing the black. I will post a test print. thank you!

what's up guys, having an issue with me vp300.. when printing black it doesn't print very clean looking.. it leaves small "fuzzy" lines but I have cleaned this thing a lot and still doing it.. think it could be the print head?

right now printing 11x17,, but have done bigger and smaller with no grain at all.. same settings

Ok thank you, I will try that. I'm just printing Tiff image at a res of 300.. my son pitching.. on his face it gets very pixelly.

having trouble printing people without them getting very pixelated. Doesn't matter what res I build the file in, they always seem to get very "fuzzy".. anyone have any advice? thank you!

I use roland spot colors.. it's wierd how I use to be able to print spot colors in gradients until I upgraded.. I guess I could remove the program and reinstall my old version since I have the disk..??

I am using illustrator cs.. not sure how to chose Postscript Level 3 and gradient compatibility ? I use to print gradients all the time in an older version of versaworks that did read the spot colors in them

That's exactly what I'm thinking but I tried a few different settings and still not reading the gradients.. I don't recommend upgrading! haha. this has me confused, thanks for responding

I posted this in the color management section, but I have a job that I need finished asap, and I'm stumped! Printing on a versacamm vp300 and recently upgraded my versaworks to the newest version.. ever since, I can't print gradients using spot colors (roland color system library), versaworks...

what should I convert the profile to? Now after upgrading my versaworks every time I print a gradient it is really off.. say i'm printing a green to white fade.. well at the bottom of the green there is a white streak across the entire image.. what could that be from?
