The procedire is very easy. One guy is unlocked my printer.
You have to use Mutoh Service Accistance (MSA) and download printer's identifier.
Than he create unlock file from that identifier. And you will upload unlock file to printer.

I have an experience for convert Xerox to Mutoh and unlock them. There is not so easy to explain how to do conversion because procedure contains few steps.
And next step depends on previous.
Xerox printer may be unlocked after convert to Mutoh.
Oce printer may be unlocked without conversion.
For check if cartridge detection sensor is working normally you can do:
- Remove the cartridge and open locker frame;
- Few times press to sensor's pin and check if printers's recognized it (pin on photo). Maybe pin is locked in some position and just need to release it.

Why you want to convert?
It is not a problem to comvert from Oce to Mutoh. Just need to reset company code in printer's memory. Special software should be used for it.
Smartcards for 1304 and 1324 are completely different. I mean structure of data in card memory. It impossible to use cards from one printer to another.
