We are going to do the sides of a friends trailer. This is one of our first jobs, so we are in the dark. Each side will have a single piece of vinyl between 9sq ft. to 12 sq ft. I bought 3 M control tac but I bought Grimcos 3 mil Overlam called "Eclypse' Do you defeat the purpose of the good...
Thanks
I'll probably use a good wrap vinyl. I'll take the screws out if I can. What do you do with them when you put them back in so they don't interfere witj the graphic? Wrap them?

A friend of ours offered us our first trailer job. We will apply a piece of vinyl on the side of his trailer. Vinyl will be either 3' x 3' or 4' x 4' or something close to that. The good thing is that he is a friend and if I mess it up the first time I'll try again. But I would like to get it...
Thanks
I agree with all. Actually we have completely re-done our Logo and it looks ten times better. I'll re-do the Tailgate next week. Put only one logo on it and clean it up. I have not decided about the photo. Our employees really like it. We are new and excited about our expansion...
Your Right
Yes the Wording is off Center. I was trying to miss the Longhorn.
If I re-do it I'l adjust it, drop the Longhorn a littlr lower and move the text over.

Graphic & Die
It's Hill County Graphic & Die, you cannot see the "&" very well.
We screen print and die cut. We mostly print on polystyrene. I am about to start a web site and pursue security sign business. I can print and cut plastic to shape. We just started the sign & banner business...
I hope I attach the picture right.
The first four prints went in the trash. I still have a few wrinkles on the one in the picture, but they not real bad. I printed it on some Arlon wrap material and laminated with oragaurd cast 290. I printed with a Summa DC4. There was a litttle print...
I've posted a few things here and thanks for all the help. I have been planing to go to Feller's "Wrap School" this summer but I thought I'd ask if anyone has been? What did you think of it? Is there another one that is as good or better? If you ask a salesman at Feller's it's the greatest...
2nd print in the trash
Okay I'll by some different vinyl.
But what size and kind of squeegee do you suggest? I'll order some tomorrow.
Waht are the torches for? I guess I'll find out in wrap school this summer but I'm curious.

Laminate?
I was not going to laminate. But since the first piece of vinyl is in the trash can I might laminate the one printing. Does laminating help much? Have you used the premium vinyl?
Signs Up
Alright before anyone gives me too hard a time, I'll let you know I am going to go to Fellers Wrap school this summer. But for now... here is my problem.
I am trying to cover my tailgate with a single piece of vinyl. The surface is clean and I started at the top. I put down about two...
Security Signs
A lot of security signs are screenprinted on polystyrene. If you need enough of them that is the way to go. We can screen print and die cut to shape.

I did a 2' x 8' banner and took it to a sewing contractor. He charged me 25.00 to sew and put in rivots. We are going to buy a rivot machine which will solve that, but what about the sewing? He said that if I started bringing him more I could get the price to about $15.00
What do most...
I have watched a couple of videos of people using this stuff to put lettering on windows. I bought some but I bought a 30" roll. I thought I would just cut of a piece as I need it. It looks like people are using multiple sizes? Do most of you square your lettering up with the application...
Thanks again
Okay, Ill look at the big squeege site later today. But I'll proabably eventually want a laminator. Let me see if I understand this. With the right laminator, I can print a large 4' by 8' piece of vinyl and put it onto a 4' x 8' piece of substrate dry without any problems? Do...
Thanks
Okay, so I'll try some rapid tack.
What about applyiny to large surfaces like a 3' by 4' or bigger.
Do you take all the backing off thevinyl and try and put down all at once or do you start with an edge and put a little at a time down?
