Unless it's changed recently Trendfilm has been made by 3M for as long as I can remember...which is about 10 years.
I don't believe Oracal has ever private labeled their products in the U.S.
+1
Sometimes sewing together isn't even necessary. When offered, most of my clients like the idea of having 2 separate banners. It gives them more options.
I can't imagine having to fuss with trying to get the second side perfectly aligned to the first.
Rick- my current laser is an HP 2605dn. I find the toner to be much less expensive than ink. A new set of OEM toner costs ~$275 and lasts 2,000 to 2,500 sheets.
Here is what I can share so far.
...significant upgrades versus the Quikmount 4:
1. bonded silicone rubber on bottom roller (instead of sponge silicone sleeve)
2. all new heavy duty stand.
3. steel cores in top roller, instead of aluminum, are much heavier and provide more...
I have received information from Ika at Daige regarding the new laminator. I'm waiting to hear back if I can share this info yet.
I will say its not called the QuikMount 5 and it should be available in 2-3 weeks.
The Gerber brand brushed chrome was the only one that ever worked for me. No tricks I can offer....I haven't used the stuff in over a year. You could print on clear vinyl and then apply that to the brushed chrome if all else fails.
THANK YOU. THANK YOU. THANK YOU.
I think/hope most here will feel the same gratitude for your decision to not discount your work or give it away for free as a learning experience.
