I was reading some other thread a long time ago asking about "how to get new clients for your wrap business" and someone mentioned that they would go to a certain gas station that lots of commercial vans used and just sit and watch to see who had a vehicle that looked like it needed a new wrap...
Find the right mix of equipment, customers, services and prices that allows you to still work from home. If my particular field allowed the work from home, I would do it in a heartbeat. The incremental increase in profit vs the exponential increase in stuff to think and worry about... It's just...
I bought a 10" windows tablet at Best Buy (Their store brand) for around $200. No, it doesn't have the silly little pen, and it weighs more and only lasts around 6 hours on a charge, but it runs Windows 10 64 bit and I can install any windows program on it. Touch screen too.
I have 2 mini misters in my shop and LOVE them! It’s extremely important to run your water through a reverse osmosis system BEFORE you pipe it to the mini misters. They sell a 100gallon per day Reverse Osmosis system that is adequate.
If you don’t, you’ll get white residue all over everything...
There's a really easy solution for this. No new programs needed:
Highlight all the files, hold down shift and right click over them. Choose "copy as path" and paste into a text file.
Done.
Negotiate first?
Have you considered asking ADP to drop their prices? A $1600 savings is equivalent to about $61 per pay period. There has to be room in their pricing to drop it down.
We just duplicate the layers within the file and group them together then convert that group to outlines and lock and hide the originals. That way we never lose the original text nor do we have to keep 2 files.
Thanks for the suggestion!
Have you ever put this over existing wall paper?
At this point I'm looking into the Lind SignSpring system. I can install the track on the existing wall without any surface prep. Their system also has about 5" wide covers that will hide all the mounting points...
A customer of mine is asking me to print a graphic to cover this entire wall and I've never done anything like this before.
The full width of the wall is 28' and the height is 14'
The wall has wallpaper on it now, and some damage spots on it from where the previous tenant had a very big...
Check your CMYK values for the blues that are turning purple. You probably have too much magenta and it's pushing the color over in that direction.
If memory serves me correctly, you never want more than 20% more magenta than cyan. (or something like that)
I'm actually making racks like this today!

I'm sure we'll never know all the reasons why these companies cut ties, but I can surmise this:
Mimaki has a problem with Advantage and cut ties.
Mimaki has a problem with Grimco and cut ties.
I'd say Mimaki has a problem.
Advantage fired my salesman and my inside guy and the company stopped...
In illustrator, it is based on the arrangement of layers. We always do a series of "bring to front" or "send to back" to get things in the order we want so cutting is more efficient.
