If it was rectangle I would, I should have mentioned that.
It will be a custom shape and only attached on the sides at the posts. I just never cared for the look of exposed edges on alumalite, or am I missing something.
??? Would it be a bad idea to use 1/2" PVC from N Glantz on a 4x6 sign? 2-sided (one panel per side w/ treated lumber between for support) between 2 posts? This would be fully painted front & back facing E/W.
I just really prefer not to mess with MDO and the customer is concerned about...
It's not really ghosting, it fires every single nozzle in both heads just once leaving a perfect pattern of the nozzles. And it does this at random points, that same banner that I printed yesterday and had a problem is printing now and so far zero issues.
So what is a good density for exterior signs?? And should the sales people at the suppliers know this information? I have a couple of upcoming projects that I plan to use pvc on, they will be fully painted but I don't want to have problems with it down the road.
I have been experiencing a strange print head malfunction. I am running a Mutoh Falcon Outdoor. Randomly during a print but not always I will get at random points all of the nozzles on both heads will fire one time resulting in a line of each color.
It has been doing this for a while now, and...
I'll try to get them to cut some down if they still don't have any for thursdays delivery.
Sign mart may well have it in stock as well as grimco I'm sure probably does but they don't deliver to my area and shipping on a half dozen sheets doesn't make sense. I guess if it comes to it I can...
Anyone know a source for poly metal that delivers to southern Indiana besides N Glantz?
N Glantz is out of stock on all 4x8 poly metal right now and it could hold me up on a few jobs if they don't get more soon and after talking to then there seems to be a backorder on it or something.
I'm not...
Just curious on what you decided to do rushworks? I'm also looking to do about the same as you and considered using them as the price seems pretty fair.
I like it, but maybe that is because it looks very similar to my logo. Signs is the same font as in my logo.
Any chance Phillip Newell did this for you?
I'm guessing nobody uses this stuff? I can see how it would be quicker to manufacture letters with but also seems like it could be a pain if you ever have to service them in the future.
In my area depending on the customer I'd be around $6-800. I don't think 1k is too much for a job like that though, you can always lower your prices if they are shopping around and say "wow that's a lot higher than the other shops", but all you can do is kick yourself when they say "wow that is...
When you say light coats what exactly do you mean? For example on the white backer would you have an average of 4 light coats or 8 even lighter coats to get the same end result? The colors I am doing are dark brown with an off white backer.
We have a nice booth setup(my dads bodyshop) at our...
I have a couple of pan faces to spray with Lacryl 400, any tips on spraying techniques? I have heard to have a light behind it so you can see what you are doing as well as working in really light coats.
Anything special that needs to be done when prepping? I'm thinking scotch brite and...
