Haven't really measured the side reach exactly but I'm gonna say its about 25' max probably not even that much, I would say the outriggers would have still been on it if required by OSHA. I will check into that though.
Thanks!
I looked closer yesterday evening and there is no ballast on it but to the rear end housing there is a massive stabilizer that holds the suspension from moving independently much at all in the rear. It can move up and down but it will resist rolling.
The control is the single handle...
I'm gonna take a closer look at this later on today, I think we estimated that we got about 8-9mpg bringing it home so it may have ballast on it somewhere.
Thanks!
You are correct, no outriggers the truck is a F-550 and is quite stable even all the way up and out as far as it will reach.
No welder on it either.
I'm really excited to use it!
42' max working height.
Lottery?? I wish! More like building a cnc with the help of friends that re-build/use them for a living. Flatbed will probably not happen. Welder is new though, and needed to build the CNC!
Here is one of the new toys! If only it was warmer outside!
Yet to come by years end:
-cnc router
-mig welder w/ spool gun (ordered)
-flatbed printer??
The more I look at older posts on these it looks like a lot of them got parted out. Last I talked to the owner of this one he said they would not be able to hook it up in order to do a test print or anything. I'm thinking to treat it as a parts machine at best if I cant even see it run.
I'm also looking at a used 72uvx, what are some things to look for on these units?? What kind of registration accuracy can be obtained when doing double sided prints?
From what I gather price on these is anywhere from $5000-10,000, are they worth for someone that doesn't need something super...
Emery is behind by about 30 "likes", please help her catch up. I promise to post a pic of her wearing the hat if she wins!

Concerning entering the contest, the photographer who we have worked with previously wanted to take some pictures of Emery to build her portfolio so we let her, got all the rights to the pics with the agreement that she could use them for her portfolio and promotional pieces...
Those of you that are my friends on facebook probably already know this but I wanted to show off my 1 month old daughter to everyone here on S101.
She was born Oct. 8, 5lb 15oz, 19.25". Her name is Emery Noelle
I couldn't be more proud!! & I absolutely wouldn't trade her for anything...
Would you trust it if it was supported within 3-4" of the perimiter as well as some cross braces through the center?
Almost thinking I should just forget it and use mdo like it was before.
