Welcome from RI! Nice Mustangs. I have a black 65 Mustang Fastback that we're currently restoring. It's got a ways to go but it should be finished by this summer. I'm always restoring something on the side. We usually slow down a bit in the winter and it's nice to have something to work on.

You'll want to detach the damper from the print head and draw from the bottom of the damper. You can also connect a syringe to the tube that goes to the waste tank and draw with the print head seated over the capping station. Your not going to damage the print head as long as you go easy.

Do you still have Signlab or Flexi?

As long as you have auto clean turned on in the printer settings menu.

I believe it's the tap to click option that is driving you nuts, try turning it of by unchecking the box. Start-Control Panel-Mouse-Device Settings-Settings-Tapping

Had the same problem with my toshiba when I first got it. I was able to fix it somewhat by adjusting the mouse settings in control panel.
