Have you tried another color pallet, maybe try rgb colors. they print better for me on my vp540
I also use the pantone color librarys in flexi alot, hardly ever use cmyk.
Save as an eps in flexi the import into versaworks that came with the roland.
Only problem with this solution is if your cutter is not a roland, versaworks won't add the registration marks for other brand cutters.
The way you explain it, it won't work because their are enough prints on the back of the sheet that it will still bang on the ground when going back and forth. If you want to keep printing just keep doing them in lots of 4 and sheet cut each time, then laminate then cut all the sheets. So you...
We use a plastic "float" that has straight edges, push the paper in with the float then remove float from the back of the laminator. even this way its possible to not get it in straight.
Yes we have this happen to us also, it seem to do it when you dont get the paper in straight, the longer you leave it in while not straight the worse it wrinkles. It will ruin the print if you don't straighten the paper. Also we use pipe clamps to try to hold the roll from moving side to side on...
Its not only the file size that will effect rip time but also the actual size of the print, a 4'x8' sheet takes longer to rip than a 4"x8" due to the amount of dots per inch.
Its not that you really need the uv protection of laminate on the dirt cars cause they usually do get done at least once a year. But you do need the laminate to protect from chemical spills such as gas because that will wash the ink off.
Also the laminate will help you on the install because the...
We tried the fc800 brand new and never could get it to find the registration marks made by the printer consistantly, sometimes it would work, sometimes not. We replaced it with a brand new summa s140 and never had another problem finding marks. I am not sure about the d140 summa though. With the...
In my experience since flexi is only a 32bit program even on a 64bit computer it still only will use 3gb of memory. The only thing that seemed to speed it up was dual high speed hard drives in raid 0.
I run 8.6 and 10 on 7pro 64bit.
Man, I thought I was gonna see you were from Niagara Falls, cause we just had a guy wanting the same exact thing. Once he got the quote he changed his mind.
No we returned it and bought a summa. have not had a problem finding crop marks since. plus the user interface is much better. it does cost more though. we went with the d-series
Good luck!
