Thanks Bob. I will give that a try.
I know its not the best printer in the world, but I bought it used and its all I could afford at this point to get started doing my own prints.
I just hope I can impress customers and not do the opposite!

well I was told the capping station BRAND new. so hopefully its not that.
what would the maintenance station help with?
Can someone break down a description of what the problems are in the print? for example... why the thin lines through all the colors?
Hm. Well I am just getting into doing my own printing so I am worried about not having enough work right away to keep it running enough.
I guess if I just run a test print or something every few days if I have no print jobs I will be ok?
Ok guys. I only have my old 24" panther cutter to do contour cuts until I get my new cutter to go with my printer.
I am wondering if there any step by step instructions on how to set up a non-reg reading cutter(panther) to contour cut
THANKS!
Yes the heaters are on. I think I may need to cut down the amount of ink.
In the profile properties it says:
c - 90%(grayed out)
y - 90%(grayed out) - m +lm + y 2x - 80%
m - 90%(grayed out) - c + lc + y 2x - 80%
b - 90%(grayed out) - c + lc + m +...
I think I have my setting pretty good.
Just one thing.
When I do a print, say a 20x20 if there is say for instance red the first 1" of the print that has red is kind of muddy and then as it gets further into the print the more vibrant and red it prints.
What could that be?
Im also getting a...
Oh I see. So when the print head sets into the capping station it is supposed to physicaly push that spring loaded lever out...
That doesnt seem like its going to work to well ever
I put all the covers on, but the lever that raises the pinch roller will not unlock- "go up" without having the side cover off and pulling out that spring loaded pin?
Is there a sensor that controls that pin or is something else wrong?
Thanks!
