The marks are generated by the RIP. The printer just prints what is told to print. In Flexi, just set up the job in Rip and Print on the cut tab specify the XC as your cutter and Flexi will generate the right marks for your XC

Pressing pause bypasses the heater warmup. If you wait till the heaters are at the set temperature it will start automatically. If you print before theaters are at temperature you could have print quality issues. Good luck

It sounds like your ink may be growing mold. Is this dye sub ink? You may need to flush the ink system. Your ink manufacturer probably has a cleaning solution for this or a recommended solution. Good luck
