Worked in a shop with a 36" plotter and a 54 " print/cut Roland. There were tons of times where we would have benefitted from being able to lift something off the printer to cut it and send it out while another job is printing. Not to say that it was necessary for every job but about 3/20...
Higher flute counts and CNC routers aren't friends unless you're cutting foam. The RPM is just too fast. At 16500 and 2 flutes you would need to go at 100mm/s minimum. Not sure if your vacuum can hold that down.
If you have an extra spoilboard out of MDF you could always use a downcut but then...
For outdoor you can use Ultraboard. It has a plastic styrene like coating on the outside vs the paperlike coating for gator. It's quite rigid as well at 1/2 inch. It's standard thickness for those person cutouts for indoors. 1/4 is really floppy. The bottle is about 72x24 inch. At 24x72 your...
The only people complaining about not being able to find workers are the ones cheaping out on paying them. Talent costs money. This whole people not wanting to work crap jobs for no pay is not due to laziness. It's because people are not as desperate. Less desperation is good, I know it's hard...
Use a downcutting carbide o-flute for cutting ACM printed panels. It doesn't need a special coating or anything. You do need that MDF sheet underneath to hold your chips. The edges always stay perfect since it pushes the chips down. The chip extraction is minimal due to the chips just packing in...
The drug ads on TV is mostly a North American concept. It's not really a thing in Europe at least prior to me leaving. Your doctor is the one who gets to decide which medicine is best for you.
There's a big disconnect. How come the James and Jane Doe in the ads always take the specific drug...

Seems like Russians trolling again.
From the article
Inject me as many times as you want doctor man, maybe the slew of new microchips in my...
Depends if it's the Chinese 2" or real 2". Chinese would probably be 48mm. Try a piece of painters tape on the side of it if it has auto-height detection to avoid the beam going through the acrylic.
Never used a flatbed cutter such as the ones you guys are referring to and I was always wondering about that cutting mat. Seems pretty wasteful to cut into it with the rotary cutter. Like jasonx said you could use a thin layer of MDF as a makeshift table. Make sure it's uncoated both sides and...
I spray painted exclusively with rustoleum spray cans if customer was ok with the tone . Always had great looking finishes. Your mistake was waiting too long to recoat. I wait about 10-20 minutes depending on the weather and the temperature of your painting area.
Big tip is to use a hard metal...
Why do that when you can be a madman and just cut everything with a fully extended blade? Gotta keep the foreman on his toes and the safety guy employed.
There's also the other famous category of customers. They order 1 small thing and expect bulk discount by just saying it will be an order of 1000+ if it works out.
You could try to make the whole outer box out of clear acrylic square rod instead of aluminum. Don't need anything special to glue acrylic, just some plastic glue. I have used the weld-on brand with a lot of success but your local supplier will more than likely have their own brand of special...
They offer all sorta energy efficiency rebates here too and the power is cheap and generated by hydro. It seems kinda goofy but they might recoup some of the rebates with the excess power sold to US. Not sure as to how it works in the US.
LED lights are great vs the other options just from not...
Are you doing this as a hobby or is this a real job? For a job it seems like it's taking up a lot of your time for not a lot of money. Might be one to pass along or sub out while you still can.
Polycarb is heavy and expensive unless you can get it real thin but then you still have to deal with...
I don't think the salespeople gave a lifetime warranty on painted outdoor acrylic letters. I hope at least. We usually did foam for larger letters on 2nd floor and up or anodized/powder coated aluminum for street level due to vandalism. Rustoleum works really well for back sprayed signs too...
