You CAN cut reflective with the standard blade, but the 60 degree will work better. Yes, blade holders are expensive, especially considering they are made out of plastic. Not sure of another source for them. Not sure how your machine is compared to ours, but even in roll 2, we have 4 slots...

Another option is to use a double sided adhesive film mounted onto the back of the acrylic then mount the print onto the double sided adhesive film. Not sure on the material we have here, but we do it often and works well. Check with your lam supplier.

Our 540i came set on full scan. It certainly reads the roller position, but continues past the material right to the end of the machine.

Velcro is irrelevant if double sided tape isn't sticking to your panels. How would you adhere velcro to something that isn't holding double sided tape? Unless of course the velcro exists on whatever your putting your panels on.

Don't see an attachment either. The large yellow lettering doesn't look like Goudy to me. The main type on their header on the website does, and their shield on the doors may well have Goudy on it.

Looks more like a copperplate to me.

I know this is a dumb question, but are you sure the blade is secured in the holder? Sometimes I'll switch out a blad holder and forget to tighten the hold thing down. Then when I try to cut something when the blade goes down it pushes the whole blade holder up then it falls back down again when...

I have the same issue at times. Too much depth/pressure and it scores the backing paper too much, leaving paper on the back of vinyl when you peel it away. Too little and it doesn't weed right. After a few weeks of cutting they seem to get to where I want them.

Could also put some double sided tape on some good release liner and try using that as well. Glad you figured it out Sticky.
