I sell a lot of capital E's....
Seriously...I think you put the cart before the horse but now that you're in the game with a limited budget you've just got to knock on doors, introduce yourself and hope your personality and salesmanship are reason enough for people to trust dealing with you...
I'm in the market for a printer and while looking over the info on the Roland website I see that the VersaCAMM VP series comes with "VersaWorks RIP with Enhanced Productivity Tools" and the VersaCAMM SP series comes with "VersaWorks RIP."
What are the "Enhanced Productivity Tools?"
I turn my cutters and Edge2 on and off all day. I'd guess that on the average day I power on my Graphtec FC5100 10-15 times. I've always done this and never had any problems. I've been doing this with my cutters for 10 years.
I also turn my computers off when I leave at the end of the day.
One of my suppliers offers #2 3/8" grommets from 3 or 4 different manufacturers.
Are these grommets all shaped the same and usable with any grommet press that has #2 dies?
Just finished using the vector doctor's method and it works perfectly! Thanks!
Rodan68 - No, I don't see an option to convert fonts to outlines in Acrobat Pro v8.
Thanks TresL. The problem with this file is that the fonts are embedded and I don't have them on my system. So, when I try to bring the PDF into AI or CDR I'm asked for substitutes.
My question was:
Is there a way to open a PDF file in Adobe Acrobat Pro (I have version 8)
and
re-save it
with the text converted from fonts to outlines/paths/curves.
I know I can open the file in Acrobat Pro and I'm not asking anything about raster images.
Thanks Vid! I'll try...
Is there a way to open a PDF file in Adobe Acrobat Pro (I have version 8) and re-save it with the text converted from fonts to outlines/paths/curves so that it can easily be imported into a vector graphics program? If not, is there another program that can do this?
