Step 2- Adobe and Flexi need to be working in the same color spaces-(ex. Adobe RGB for bitmap, US Web Coated SWOP for vector, Flexi color settings input profile and rendering intent)

Wait a few weeks to send the bill.
If the worst happens, they will still have to pay their phone bill, water bill, etc... so don't get too worked up over it.
Just continue to be the friend you have been.
Take the machine into maintenance mode and do a test print(The big single color strips)
If those are goofed up, then a tech should come out and test the boards.
Lesson learned, don't promise a delivery date until you have all materials on on hand.

With proper color profiling, the type of ink matters less.
I have been using solvent ink, and it is just plain more durable.
It really comes down to an economic decision for most people.
Are you going straight from the printer to the computer or through some type of hub or switch?
If straight through, then you need to use a "crossover" cat 5 cable.
Either way, the computer and printer must have different IP addresses.

Not wrong at all. Politely tell them that your files were created for your purposes, and if they want them for other purposes, they have to pay for you to prepare the files for other uses.
