all of our laminated vinyl has a slight "natural" curling from how the media is stored. how hot was the vinyl when laminated? out gassed or straight from printer?

got a single post air over water one in our shop thats pretty old. I would say it really depends on how many wraps you do. we only do 1-2 wraps a year and this thing is just in the way the rest of the time.

Never tried 3M Print vinyls. But i always had problems with 3M vinyl for some reason. In any case i used the 3951RA, 3751 and the 3551, with matching laminates. I must say the adhesive is very aggressive once set on the cast and a little mild on there calendar. Rapid Air works like its supposed...

I don't see why there would be an issue. we print on matte and laminate with gloss almost on a daily basis with no separation issues. its not as glossy as gloss+gloss but to the "normal eye" there is barely any difference.

I assume you dont want it with an adhesive backing. so Grimco's Polystyrene maybe? its fairly cheap and available in different thicknesses.

are you asking how to mount one you bought or building your own? If your building your own i would just grab some 2x6's slot some angled holes and mount them to the wall. Grab some lightweight pipe from your local hardware store and slide your rolls in.

Whats the idea of the compressed air? just to remove the water from the screen after cleaning the emulsion off? Also what are you mixing in your dip tank?
