my FC7000 series has just high and low settings on all 3 pinch rollers. I always run my outside 2 on the higher pressure setting. If I run the middle one at all, it is in the lighter setting.

I've been using Avery 1", and it works good, much better than the oracal stuff. It does tend to wrinkle a little when rolling the banners up. I might have to try the above mentioned stuff next time.

This sure sounds like a setting problem in Flexi, or Production Manager. I may be of some assistance, but I would need screen shots of your settings, just before you send the file from the Rip/Print window. I'll PM you my email if you want to send these to me, I'd be happy to rule this out as...

I had the same problem this weekend with my Flexi pro 8.5. It cost me half of a day, as It wouldn't let me print anything, even with rebooting. I had to completely uninstall, and reinstall flexi, then relearn how to get the printer up and running etc... what a pain! I'm running 12gigs of ram...

I'm running Flexi 8.5 on Windows 7 64 bit beta, no problems at all, I run my Mutoh printer, and Graphtec cutter. You shouldn't have any trouble at all.

you could also try rotating the image upside down, or sideways to see if the line is printed in the same place on the graphic, this would tell you that it is the graphic, and not the printer.

head height low or high? Set it to high, turn the heat down, that's solved my problems with my 1304.

so far, windows 7 is nice, i've had a couple of bugs with outdated drivers, and a couple compatability problems with software, but nothing sign specific. Photoshop, and Flexisign work great, and the printer and cutter were a breeze to get up and running.

I don't know if it's necessary, but I just set up a scratch disk from my raid 0 ssd drives, and allocated 4gb of ram for photoshop...holy sh** it's fast. Also, overclocked to 3.4ghz, and very stable so far.
