  1. New Build

I do plan on using this for graphic design, photoshop, flexi work. I'd like to play with the overclocking a bit just for the experience mostly. From what I understand, the I7 920 can be overclocked a reasonable amount without sacraficing reliability...This being said, I'm not dumping my heart...

I did manage to get the computer put together this weekend, and it's up and running, 64 bit, windows 7, and all. So far, i've got flexi working with my printer, cutter! I'm...

  5. Help setting up TCP/IP for Mutoh 1304

Ok, I've been running my Mutho VJ 1304 for the last year off of my old computer with a TCP/IP setup. I checked the old settings, IP address, etc. I just built a new computer, installed Flexi, got the cutter to work, but I'm having difficulties with the printer. I remember fighting with it the...
  6. New Build

Thanks for the heads up on the HDD, I just chose a cheap one, without any research. Overall cost for build so far is $2200, but that doesn't include the OS.
  7. New Build

Ok, so this will be my first build, so any advice is appriciated. I know there is another current thread that is similar, but I didn't want to hijack it. This computer will be used primarily for Photoshop CS4, and Flexisign 8.5. I'm starting to design wraps, and it's mind numbing waiting for...
  8. barb wire

Aurora Graphics Wrap Wizard...$600 might be a little steep for some barbed wire though:(

  13. how do i wrap a helmet

one thing that I found that has helped (a little) is bolting a mannequin head to a 4x4 post that clamps to my work bench. Put the helmet on the head, and strap it down tight, so you can pull, and stretch on the vinyl. I've had luck with a few hockey goalie masks, not so good of luck with a...
  14. Items you’ve Wrapped.

    this one was kinda fun
  15. Flexi Rip/Print

Sounds like you need a specific profile for the 3651g. Here's a link from SW for several, not sure if it's for your Mutoh or not... http://www.signwarehouse.com/support/index.php?_m=downloads&_a=view&parentcategoryid=22&pcid=0&nav=0 For training, google "Mark Rugen". I have a quality DVD...

  17. Graphtec cutting inconsistencies

I have run into this problem after cutting punched material on my Graphtec. Check your pinch rollers to make sure they don't have any of the small circles of vinyl stuck to them. If you get too many on one side of your media, it will throw you off.
  18. Sign Warehouse

Am I the only one who has had good dealings with SW? I have been using them almost exclusively for the last 5 years. There is only one local supplier (150 miles away) here in AK, and he sells only Avery vinyl which I havn't had good luck with. In those 5 years, and $60k+ worth of purchases, I...
  19. Blade Type and Depth w/ Laminated 3651

I cut this combo with a standard 45 degree blade on my graphtec fc-7000 as well. I slow the speed down to about 20, and downforce is around 24 - 25. I havn't noticed any problems with blades wearing out. BTW, what laminant are you using? I usually use Oracal 210 on the 3651.
  20. Which printer works best with Graphtec cutter?

I run a Mutoh 1304 Valuejet, 54" it's fast, good quality, and pretty affordable. Great combo with my FC7000 Graphtec...
