My understanding is new version going forward are only the subscription model. I believe you can still buy a perpetual license of older versions, but moving forward you can only use it by monthly subscription. I'm not a heavy Adobe user... so I may be mistaken.

Agreed... not a super feature, but I was using it for sake of example. Premium membership gives access to new tools immediately rather than waiting for a full version release... QR Codes was the first thing that came to mind, that it's been available for awhile in Corel as a premium feature, but...

Don't count on it... I've done this too many times and never have found a way to fix it after the fact.

I have had good luck with F&M Expressions when needed. They only do transfers, not the entire garment, and I believe they are out of NJ? But if you've got a heat press in house, the transfers will work fine. Another one that I prefer for transfers is Dowling Graphics, but they are out of Florida.

You can choose a Metallic color from the Corel library, and in versaworks you have to make sure when you pick a profile you select the one with the [MT] on it. In there, make sure you select the mode you want... typically CMYKLcLmMT... everything should come out metallic.

I have a very old dell... I can't tell you how old exactly because I got it for free from someone... but I an going to guess maybe 8 to 10 years old... really not sure. Needless to say... it is what most would consider it a dinosaur. I threw a SSD drive in it and win 7 ... I don't remember if...

I get them a lot. The boxes, plastics ends, plastic covering etc are all in perfect condition... but the cores are always like this. I don't have high volume, but I'd say a solid 50% of the various Oracal Digital Medias I have purchased over the last few months has been like this when I received it.

I'm using VMWare Fusion 5, and everything works fine on this end. I didn't want to use dual boot either, and decided to try VMWare and it's worked great ever since.

Yeah... I used it way back in the X3/X4 early days... but haven't used it for years. And if I am not mistaken, it is not compatible on any version newer than X4?

I personally like this, as my PC doesn't even have a CD/DVD drive. Being able to download the content for me is much faster than digging through a DVD... not to mention I usually lose them anyway. And so far... the online content has been readily available and I haven't encountered any issues.
