  1. How would you guys wrap this?

Apparently it's this company out of Canada... never heard of them before, myself. https://www.facebook.com/vvividvinyl
  2. What computer do you run Corel on

I wouldn't say this is the culprit all the time, but importing previous workspaces will lead to crashes more often than not. Time and time again I see it recommended in the Corel forums not to do this... start from scratch on a clean install. I hear people all the time talking about random...
  3. CorelDraw X7

Funny, I have a Mac and my Corel works just fine! I use illustrator when I have too... and I truly have nothing against it, but I prefer Corel many times over. I too wish there was a native Mac version, but in absence of that... it works just fine via VMWare in Unity view and I can't...
  4. Painted Billboard

    Very nice!
  5. Before and After Van lettering

Very Nice! Just out of curiosity, if you don't mind sharing... what is the font used for "Residential & Commercial"... I like that font!
  6. CorelDraw X7

They did lots of work to the fills, and there are some nice additions and enhancements for the fill for sure. I like the smooth tool a lot... it comes in very handy in a lot of cases! haha I was being careful to write my last post in a way that I wouldn't indicate I had beta tested as well...
  7. CorelDraw X7

I'm not certain of this, but I believe this may be by design. The UI is completely re-done this time around, and I don't think you are able to import previous workspaces from much older versions... don't hold me to this though, I'm not 100% certain this is the case. However, it's been said many...
  8. Subdivision Wall Sign

That is a sharp looking sign! Very nice!
  9. Looking For A Good Laminate For Big Squeegee

I used to have a ton of problems with Oracal 210 and using the big squeegee, until I switched to Matte vinyls. One day I decided on the next roll of 3651 I ordered, I'd try the Matte version... completely night and day difference with the 210 and the Big Squeegee! The backing pushes right out...
  10. CorelDraw X7

For those of you that are Corel users, CorelDraw X7 is available for download!
  11. Hand painted helmets

They are well done... very cool!
  12. What fonts do you like using?

+1 I like this family of fonts too!
  13. Perf and or cut through issues. Jagged paper. What knife is best 45 or 60 degree.

I haven't used a Graphtec, however on my Roland I have found when doing the perf cut, that I experience this when I've got my cutting speed set too fast. If I slow it down (and use a 60 degree blade) it cuts much smoother. Perf cut is great, but I find you have to test and tweak each material...
  14. Help determining size of pan face

+1 This is the easiest way... where I worked previously... if we weren't certain we had the proper dimensions, we added a few extra inches to the face and instructed the installer to trim on site. Never was an issue.
  15. XR owners

In regards to printing white, while I am not familiar with this model of printer... if it is anything like my VS series printing white, it slows to snails pace printing white, especially when doing White > CMYK. Although I'm not certain, I'd suspect you'd experience the same with the XR? But I'm...
  16. "Silly Lodcomm" decal..

Not that it matters in the slightest, but I’m curious why one of the items for sale on your eBay profile says “Arrowhead Graphix, Inc.”, and your s101 profile says Arrowhead Sign & Graphics? Still not sure what to call your business?
  17. "Silly Lodcomm" decal..

    :roflmao:
  18. USB to TV?

Maybe this might interest you? http://www.screenlyapp.com You need a little piece of hardware, the Raspberry Pi (it's about $35 approx) and a wifi connection. It hooks to any television or monitor with an HDMI cable. Then with screenly you log in and upload custom videos, images, websites etc...
  19. New Equipment Question

Is it possible you were originally quoted for a VS-540, and now he is quoting you on the VS-540i... which is the newer model out in the last few months (don't remember the exact date they were released)? It could be that a few months ago they were trying to move inventory on the VS-540 and the...
