I'm afraid I don't really know what this issue is either. I too, use a 1204 and they're great work horses when it comes to printing.

Same here. Usually I give it an hour. Maybe more for heavy inks. Maybe less for lighter ones. Also, by insisting on an hour "drying time", it keeps the project managers from expecting me to do everything in 5 minutes.

We've had this issue too. But ours were cut on a router here at work. I could hold the sign on it's edge and see the warping by as much as a quarter of an inch. They were 2ft by 3ft signs, .080 aluminium. The guy running the router said it must have come from the vendor warped, but cutting them...

I work with a HP Scitex FB500 and the white ink is a pain. Too easy to clog. And when loaded up, the endless automatic cleaning cycles chew through the box of ink even when nothing is printing. Right now, we have it loaded, but I can't get the light cyan ink out of the tubes, so it is showing up...

I have had trouble with the wiper and/or the lock getting "sticky". For me, a good cleaning of one or the other usually fixes it.
