I am having the same problem with Version 8.5. Also get buffer overrun errors and Flexi just shuts down without saving. All these problems started after "upgrading" from XP pro 64 to Vista. I think I will be downgrading soon.

Here's a 2009 Renegade 800R we just did with aurora digital skullz.

We have been using flexi 8.5 with our vp-540 and have no problems, I like sending directly from flexi rather than saving as an eps then opening that in versaworks. We use arlon vinyl and the profiles from their website and get very good results.

We have also noticed a considerable amount of banding on the 3m material compared to the Arlon we usually use. Yes this was using the 3m profile from flexi.

Rickey, Try this, go and buy some arlon vinyl (we like the gtx air release stuff), then download the profiles from arlon's website for both Flexi & versaworks, then use these profiles and you will get great prints at 720dpi and there is no need to print at 1440.
