Checking to see if anyone has any pictures for reference of the DPF 6500 for me? I used a white translucent film for an install and now the customers think it looks murky/not vibrant; it is on a scoreboard and we did the one below theirs as well in 2020 that they saw and they look identical...

Hey everyone; I have a Roland VS-540i printer and mid-print yesterday we had a power outage due to a storm. Computer is fine, printer seems OK, except the colors are printing extremely faded, like they aren't getting enough ink saturation. I feel like I've tried most simple troubleshooting...

Yeah, I kept trying the saved PDF but the transparencies didn't cross over for some reason. I tried saving as a new PDF from the original AI, but it still wouldn't stick for some reason :frustrated:

So he saved it as a PDF named "print file", so we could pull the file from saved docs from the folder; we tried to save and transfer all RIPs to me and my computer but they didn't transfer over properly, so unfortunately all of his RIPs were lost. I've been saving all of the new RIPs for future...

I'm just so confused about why the image would have printed/worked for him, but not for me? Most any other "print file" he saved hasn't give an issue.

It is not. I snipped a few clips to show the missing piece so it would be a little easier to understand what I'm missing. Please note that 2nd image is the print image from versaworks so quality is really terrible, but the circle is completely white rather than the black shadowing.

Do you think if I can heat the vinyl to get it to roll back down (in warmer temps) i can stick some of this on the back and let it stick back down? Or is it too late?

I think you are right, but I refuse to pay $25 for a font that's going to fall off the first time they wash the truck (have already explained font is too thin for their use intentions...) :rolleyes:

Customer created this on "looka" but I can't find the actual font name on their site. any ideas?
