  1. Never Forget......................................................

I remember too well. I was at the Javits center setting up our booth to show printers and laminators at the show that week. I didn’t see the first plane hit but we all saw the 2nd one since everyone was out on 12th Avenue with a clear view. It still feels like it happened last month.

  3. s80600 warping prints

Sounds a lot like carriage motion problems. I would have changed the encoder strip and sensor and if that didn't work, the carriage drive motor. Bruce
  4. (PLEASE ADD YOUR INPUT) Printing a wrap based on customer info

Most of my customers take perfectly squared photos of the vehicles. Some of them followed my advice and printed a large tape measure next to tiles printing instead of throwing out the side cut vinyl always. They apply it to a magnetic strip to make a 2”x25’ magnetic tape measure and take photos...

If you call into Vanguard they can remote in and help you work through these things. What exactly is your problem? You say it's overspray on the carriage plates? Or is it overspray on the print?

  8. How do you keep consistent colours on roll to roll printer? (Epson SC80600)

General color shifts is something I have never heard of on an EPSON. I have wrap customers with an EPSON who have to reprint a wrap section because of an accident a year later and they match perfectly. If it’s changing during printing, print small color bars next to print to keep all colors...
  9. Vanguard VR6D Ink problems

Looks like overspray from all colors. Make sure the de ionizer is on. Try in a slower carriage speed. Bruce

  11. Question static electricity on sheets of coro....

Static is the reason Vanguard have de-ionizers installed under the printer carriages near the led lamps. Static causes overspray to adhere on white parts of print next to printed areas. When uv printers first came out, my customers would use anti static spray made for laundry and available at...
  12. SLX+ Good Idea or Bad

  17. Cured UV ink scratching off new signs - help!

It is the chemicals that the 1/2” (10 mil) Coroplast is made from that cause this. It’s called platicizer and it keeps emerging out even after cleaning and it happens more in the summer. All my customers print on cheap Abv and apply when the job is on 10mil and they directly print skids worth...
