why are you printing at all ? I've never used sign gold but i assume you just run it thru the plotter to cut ? I'd just cut out the black then us clear premask to drop the gold in..that way you can cram all the gold together & the cut out black gives you all the alignment you need for the gold

yes Avery 900 series has an air release option as does Arlon & 3M & Oracal.. all cast vinyl afaik

the 551-050 is near as dammit, i'd go with that. Nothing real similar with Calon or Avery & nothing i could find in the few samples i have in the 951 series hope this helps cheers

looks alright for an early attempt. I like using 651 on vehicles but sop is not to mix calendered with cast. I also try to avoid going over body creases like the top of the front door. You could make the logo 10% smaller & still look good. But what does he do ? is he a gardener or...

Well the Lucy part is Freestyle script but i cant help with the rest & couldnt get a decent outline to run thru wtf or wfi. I'd guess by the quality of the card that its a windows font but i managed to get rid of most of them so cant compare them

Dont try to glue it down, you'll just ruin the paint. I do a few cop cars over here, after they are damaged & repaired, and they have normal reflective with a 1" DG outline and even that size wont stay down over any sort of ridge. The original installers use pre cut sections for corners & bends...

i do a lot of vehicles & in my experience about 70% of them you can use the bottom of the door as a guide, the rest being eyeball or a blend of two bodylines. Just gotta look right...and like most of my work, the same as the other side :ROFLMAO:
