Which capping station do you have, the one with the removable screens or the newer one thats more of a one-piece design.
Go to Plotter/User setup option via the Finecut window in illustrator.
Verify your model is right and on the communication tab, the correct port is selected.
Not sure which catalog you are looking at, but according to Grimco's catalog (who is very knowledgeable about their 3M products), this is what it says.
That is the overlam I would go with. I always match calendered vinyl to calendered overlam.
This is the best way to go, unless you step up to cast vinyl.
Edit: 8509 overlam is 3 year film
Yes, that would be heavy ink coverage but these printers are capable of this.
Do you have some way of calculating cost per job? The hp25500 built in web server have an awesome method of doing this just by inputting cost of ink and materials.
