:ROFLMAO: yeah, just make sure you let it dry at least 24hrs and you should be fine. we don't have any problems as long as its dried correctly.

we would use alupanel on a job like this with a wooden frame system on the back.

gino as usuall is correct.........you need to do it right or not at all. gino tells you above what specs you need to a banner that size and for that kind of job.

we use normal tape right on the edge of the media on each end...basically where the media clamps would be so you never get any marks or residue.....been doing this for years without any problems.

when things like that start happening, crashing or slow/odd things start we always look for updates. try updating and see if that helps.

in versaworks, printing a double pass, do you do this way>> print the graphic, tick the return to origan point and then reprint? how long do you have to leave the first print to dry before you reprint it over the first print? sorry, never used this method before and have never had to use the...

ok, so.....knowing nothing about this stuff...so forgive my complete ignorance!!!! i can basically print the graphic on a cast laminate matarial and i have to double pass it in my rip correct? i take it i then laminate over that correct?...sorry if this is real basic! i wouldn't normally do...

ok, i just went and checked it....its actually a white plastic, not painted, i thought it was painted on one side but turns out its a white sheet.

i had a regular customer ask us to do some cut material for him for his outdoor sign which he wanted to apply himself. we supplied him with cast material and of course a few days later he says he screwed it up...surprise, surprise! he brings in this 11' x 3' lexan sheet which is painted white...

lets put it this way.....you go out and buy a brand new car, you drive it home and your engine is making a knocking sound.............what would you do then? take it back and have it either fixed right or exchanged. same with any new device. if your brand new printer is not working correctly...
