  1. Is shopvox down?

Can't do anything on shopvox right now. Very annoying. Anybody else experiencing this? Has been slow and getting hung up lately. But now I can't even get a page to load.:banghead:

  3. Presidential debate...let's hear your thoughts

The way wealth is created is through banks. Don't quote me on numbers, but a bank only has to hold about 10% of it's deposits. The rest of their deposits, they can lend out to businesses, individuals, etc. Those individuals and business are theoretically supposed to invest their loans and...
  4. Grizzly Shear damaged

Wow Grizzly's customer service is a joke. They are telling me they have to wait to process their claim with UPS before they will send a replacement... Um hello this is Grizzly's fault, not UPS, looks like it was crated by 10 year old... pressed board for a 1200 lbs piece of equipment. Probably...
  5. Grizzly Shear damaged

Our new grizzly shear came in today. Unfortunately it arrived poorly packaged and damaged. Claims were started before UPS left. In a bit of a pinch though, have a couple large quantity aluminum sign jobs lined up for this (which already arrived 3 days later than scheduled) Trying to...

  9. Buying new Printer..WHICH ONE?!!

I've been noticing more and more threads lately of people having problems with their HP latex machines. Seems to be some issue with the newer models and ink delaminating from vinyl after being laminated. I've also noticed a lot of people saying there is a ton of wasted time/material everytime...
  10. Letter track attachment?

Thanks everyone. Have some #4 coming in tomorrow.
  11. Letter track attachment?

I see that weld on #10 is used for bonding dissimilar materials, but it isn't clear. Does anybody know which/if weld on can be used to bond polycarbonate faces with acrylic letter track?
  12. Letter track attachment?

Will weld on work with polycarbonate faces too?
  13. Corebridge

When emailing proofs to customers, does it look to the customer as though you are sending them the proof/quote personally? With shopvox anything sent out gets to the customer via shopvox.com. ( for example it will say steve@signcompany via shopvox.com as the sender.) And the body of the email...
  14. Corebridge

I am a current shopvox user... Wondering if you ended up going with corebridge? How do you like it?
  15. Oraguard 210 = UV burn

This is very unsettling as we have a lot of 210 laminated signs out there. Have you spoke with oracal about this? We haven't noticed any "burn" in upstate NY.
  16. Font ID please

    Anybody know this font?
  17. Solvent vs Latex.

Apparently HP pays the best commission also..
  18. Shop Truck & Sign Transportation

Put an 8' or 10' pallet in the bed with the tailgate up. I usually lay some cardboard down, put you sign on top of that and then a couple pieces of scrap coro where I'll strap it all in. Works good but then you have no place really to put any ladders. Have also used 2 ladders as the pallet...
  19. Taping Window perf?

The idea is to save time tiling and lining up panels during install. There are graphics that flow from below the windows through the windows and above the windows. Above and below will be regular vinyl. The windows aren't continuous, but very little gap and the gap is fairly flat painted...
  20. Graphic ID

Does anybody recognize this graphic? Have an autobody shop we do work for looking to replace this on one side of this kia. If I can't ID it we'll draw up something similar and do both side of the car so they match. Thanks,
