  1. Taping Window perf?

What type of laminate do you use on window perf? We have never had a problem with not laminating it. Windows look good 3 years later. Anyway I think the OP is looking for insight from someone who has experience with installing large sections of window perf, with or without app tape.
  2. Post Driver

Looks pretty intriguing. Will that put a U channel post in through blacktop? Also wondering if you can put any attachments in it?
  3. Wrap a tanker

I used to work as a welder on all sorts of trailers/tankers. It is safer to weld on a tank/tanker full of fuel than one that had/has some fuel or was just emptied and may still have some vapors. Best to have them steam cleaned before any welding though. But as with anything, that isn't always...
  4. Wrap a tanker

    Brand new tanker.
  5. Wrap a tanker

Thanks for the info. Do you happen to have a picture of your work deck you could share?
  6. Wrap a tanker

I like this idea, and I could easily weld something up. Did you have to wrap all the way around the top of those? The tankers we will be doing don't have a raised catwalk on the top.
  7. Wrap a tanker

The problem with a walk board is that it puts you too far away from the top because of the curve of the tank. Unless you went over the top of it, perpendicular to the tanker? We'd have to purchase or rent a set up. But I guess if you have a good setup this would work good. Or even a...
  8. Wrap a tanker

Anybody have any tips on wrapping the top part of an aluminum tanker? Round tanker and we can't walk on the top it dents easily. Thinking of scaffolding on the sides but it sucks to work hunched over/laying down like that. What have others done in similar situations?
  9. What is the best reflective for printing?

How long before you noticed fading? We've been using oracal 5600 and 5650 RA with good results and haven't noticed any fading in 5 years.
  10. ShopVox - I cannot enter new customers

I just checked and I can add customers. Are you still having that problem? We too are/have been very frustrated with the restrictions and inflexibility. Makes things worse when you are told things will be fixed or added very soon, and they aren't... There is great potential with the...
  11. Windows 10 - Free Upgrade - freely installed

We also have scheduled updates to win10. I downloaded and ran the never10 app. Was super easy and quick, but I still have the win10 upgrade icon on my taskbar. Is it supposed to stay there?
  12. flatbed cutter vs. router

Ahh that's what got me, the router tool. I thought they were suggesting 3D capability. I wonder if you can do some simple v-groove with it on 1" or thinner substrate?
  13. flatbed cutter vs. router

Do you have one or ever use one? It claims 3D routeing but also only has 2" z axis travel (I think) which doesn't seem like much. Plus I haven't found a good promo video of it doing any significant 3D routeing. But I'm hoping that I'm wrong on this.
  14. flatbed cutter vs. router

Looking to bring in either a cnc router or flatbed cutter in about 1 year. Will probably got the shopbot route in the long run. But am very intrigued by the summa F series flatbed cutters. Does anybody actually have one? Can you do any 3d routering with it? Also wondering how...
  15. Oracal product question.

Oralite 5600/5650ra has a silver backing, but it's a reflective vinyl. Is the sample you have reflective?
  16. ShopVox - frustration beyond imagination - no way to list labor as non-taxable.

Kind of in the same boat as you. What are you switching to?
  17. Freelance Wrap Installer Needed Upstate NY

Looking for an installer to install a yellow chrome wrap on a 79 Delta 88. If anyone is interested pm me. If anybody has a suggestion or referral that would be greatly appreciated as well. Thanks,
  18. Font ID Please

    Anybody know this font?
  19. Polypropylene-polyester?

Thanks! What's the cost for a 54"x150' roll? You can pm me if you prefer. Also I'm printing with roland xj 540 eco-sol max inks. Just want to make sure it's compatible.
  20. Polypropylene-polyester?

I have job spec I'm trying to quote that state "polypropylene-polyester" mounted to 1/2" black sintra. This is for a state agency. Usually this customer doesn't specify what type of vinyl/film, they usually just specify the substrate. So I called the customer and asked if sign vinyl like we...
