i need to print acouple of yellow banners. some of the wording/dates/times etc needs to be cut vinyl. so my question is.....since i'm printing the banner to be yellow, next year when we go to change the cut vinyl....will it take off the yellow printed background with it?

you can manually change the pressure settings in the printers onscreen menu or you can change it in versa works. what you need to do is do a test print BEFORE you print/cut anything to make sure the pressure is what is needed. also your blade maybe getting old and blunt, you can also adjust...

yep...linen with raised thermograph lettering, we have bct do these for us all the time, come out great.

ok, so a standard gloss lam should do the trick then....i'll do a test on it and see what its like after being left over night.

yeah thats what i would have thought to behonest....using a marker on standard lam i would have thought left long enough it would at least leave a ghost image of what was on there??

so no need to get in some dry erase especially for this project then? will regular glossy lam not leave any marks at all?

We have been asked to do one of those large custom checks you see at charity events/lotto winners etc. now i know i've seen on here before several people who have done them...so my questions are.. did you create them from scratch? or is there a template that i can down load anywhere? i guess...
