Anyone used TapeTechnologies Cast Fluorescent?

Lemon just out of warranty??? What caused the 4 heads to go out? Were they replaced? Fuse problems are 'usually' caused by someone messing with the printer while powered up or possible ink overspray shorting a head. Need more details.

Sounds like fried ribbon cable and possibly fuse(s), print carriage board and maybe head... Never work on the printer with the power cable plugged in... Unless you know EXACTLY what you can and can not do.

The encoder is a vertical plastic strip that runs the width of the printer and is usually located just above and behind the carriage wire. Usually looks smokey gray. DO NOT CLEAN WITH ROLAND SOLVENT CLEANING FLUID

If the bag inside the cartridge bursts, or the orifice is damage and causes a link, the solvent will melt the plastic... I have had returned cartridges (Roland OEM, Triangle, Etc) come back with nothing but ink and the chip in the sealed outer plastic packaging bag...

Try to print the file with all heaters off. Vertical banding has often been heater settings or problems with heater

I would not recommend it... Cutting sandblast usually produces an excess of particles/dust. What brand and thickness of material are you wanting to cut?

Have you checked the wipers and captops?

Contact your local Roland Authorized Dealer. Buy something from them and they may be willing to assist.

Offer him a properly installed price and an out the door price. If he wants to use liquid nails to mount it, he should be liable.

If that is the case, I think I would have 'insisted' that they misunderstood. :)

+1 Snagit PC - ALT+PRTSCR buttons grab image of active window only. Paste into any graphic software and save as JPG, PNG, etc.

The scan print area is based on the pinch roller positions and/or the media settings within the RIP software. Printer will only print the media located between the two pinch rollers.
