If you have never changed a printhead and properly calibrated them before, you really need to get someone there that knows what they are doing. Hard to understand why it takes over a week to get a tech there. Printer techs get paid to do this service and asking a tech to tell you how to do it...

I had the same problem from the SAi server on occasion... Their servers are not always the most reliable.

Does this unit have a reflective strip to detect the edge of the media? If not, how does it detect the left and right edge?

Ideal job for a flatbed cutter. Several companies manufacture them of varying sizes... Graphtec, Ioline, and others.... You may also want to consider laser cutters for this.

The ability to export the Job Log as CSV and XML for printing is a great add-on. They should have offered a print command for this a long time ago.

Build a box yourself, wrap the cutter in plastic bag, then use sprayfoam to secure the cutter in the box... could probably get by with doing the ends only. Then, for safety, double box it and reinforce the corners.

You might want to uplug it and take off the right cover to expose the mainboard... I think there is a glass fuse there somewhere... HOPEFULLY that is the issue. Test with and Ohm meter and if dead, replace. Otherwise call Graphtec and see if there is a local authorized service center... if...

Unplug the key and let it set on the table for 3 to 5 minutes. I have run into several keys that have held a static charge while plugged in and not work. While the key is on the table, reboot the computer. When it starts back up, plug the key and try again. Sounds like a hoax but I cant...

Simply replacing these parts and then running a few cleans to prime the pump and dampers, no. I would expect there to be 20-30 ml but not much more than that... maybe 3/16"-1/2" of ink in the bottle. When you say "alot" how much of the jar is filled, 1/2, 3/4 ??
