    Include an image of your nozzle test. Any environmental changes in your shop lately; temperature, humidity, etc ? Same media as before? Same profile as before?

    Do you happen to have the shot count on that head? Or when was it last replaced? Most of my experiences with printhead blowups are caused by a damaged printhead ribbon cable or ink on the contacts (when customer replaces dampers usually). Inspect the connections on each of your ribbon cables...

    Could be anything from media, profile, heat, ink-type, rip version, head health, etc... The more detail you provide, the better response you will get (and faster I might say also). Try to include the media type, heater settings, rip settings, environment and other important variables.

    Cap the heads and you will be fine. Even uncapped, it should be fine until tomorrow. 24 hours, or so, should not cause a problem.

    Create rectangle in Corel and export as c:/test.plt Go to command prompt and try the following... C:/mode com1:9600,n,8,1 (enter, or com2 if that is the correct port) C:/copy test.plt com1 (enter) See if your cutter responds.... if not, repeat with Com2
  18. USB connection not work on sp-300v

    Take the mainboard to an electronics store and see if they can re-solder the connection... chances are the cable was bumped or tripped upon and it damaged the USB connection on the mainboard... Seen this many times. Otherwise, a new mainboard.

    Jamie, that is what we are working on now. The description of their network I have now is a bit messed up. Sent them out to buy a Patch cable to directly connect printer to switch.
