  1. Pre-Mask for Long Rolled Up 40C Wall Prints?

Transfer could be a good idea for long panels outdoors to reduce stretch, however at that viewing distance perfect panel alignment might not be a big issue and going back up 20' to remove transfer before the next panel can be applied will significantly increase install time. I don't typically...
  2. How do you guys keep track of orders/jobs currently in your shop?

We changed from printed job tickets in color-coded job jackets to Corebridge in 2019. In regards to the question about managing workflow, Corebridge lets you view WIP reports for each department or piece of equipment real-time to identify bottlenecks early. I can see which printers are booked...

The idea that the founding fathers didn't have a particular weapon in mind is a popular talking point for a lot of people but somewhat of a misdirection. Automatic weapons didn't exist at the time, which makes that a true statement. However the founding fathers had weapons that allowed them to...

  8. Colorado 1650 Printing Stickers ?? Laminate or Not ??

Prints off the Colorado are pretty durable. We don't typically laminate them. Victor mentioned that the ink from UV printing sits on top of the vinyl so there is bigger possibility of silvering from air under the laminate.

  13. What is the best tool to use for "contour" cutting of coroplast?

If you're cutting 4mm coro, then Exacto will work as well or better than the options you asked about. If you're cutting 10mm then a jigsaw or trim router will be the way to go. Regardless if it's 4 or 10mm, if it's more than a few pieces at a time then outsource it to one of the wholesale...
  14. need feedback on Colex sharpcut sxc1717

Our Colex does a great job cutting full rolls of decals. We have the 3hp router and cut .080 aluminum a lot, and .125 aluminum occasionally without any issues. Cutting larger than table size is a question for Colex.

  16. yard card signs and big head /fat head signs

An exact-o knife should work for a few cut-outs. A shop near me does their one-off standees that way. Anything bigger than a couple pieces takes too much time so they send them over to me to run on a cutting table.
  17. Question How to you make large purchasing decisions?

  19. Need Help Can someone help me with this issue?

What printer do you have? There should be a bi-directional alignment test/adjustment on the printer. The other long shot possibility is the black head temp could be too low and it’s slow to fire.(used to run into that on a NUR printer)
