  1. Too much in receivables

Seems every month we have 8 - $9,000 in outstanding receivables. Our policy is 50% down to start project 50% balance upon completion. Seems a lot of clients show upto pick up their projects and forget to bring a check. Seriously? How do you prevent this!

  5. film options other than Avery!?

We used to use Avery too. We recently switched to 3M IJ180 cv3. The material is much easier to use. We switched because we noticed the Avery changed. The pressure activation was getting to hard to work with. You literallyr have to squeegee everything twice to get the air out and sometimes risk...

  8. Re-making old logos CopyRight?

Honestly we've been doing this type of work for going on 30 years now. We have NEVER had an issue with duplicating stripes or logos. I repeat NEVER. We have had issues with posting the same things on EBay and a website but never on a clients vehicle. Who do you expect is going to see this job...
  9. SP 540V Printing Issue

Unfortunately it's the clogging issue that causes the head to go bad in the first place. They are extremely hard to flush out. Most never do. I'm not trying to be negative but I've been down this road, chasing these same problems because of them being down for literally weeks with no printer...
  10. Latest Batch of Truck Wrap Designs

Glad to see this style making a comeback. Love the old school.
  11. SP 540V Printing Issue

Just to warn you, we had that same problem. Turned out to be a blown head. We wound up having to replace both. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
  12. VersaCamm vs SolJet Pro

It's about quality. The Versacam is considered by Roland as an entry level machine. It still has the old dx4 dual head technology. The Soljet is much faster and built a little heavier with new dx5 head.
  13. how do you attach your printed vinyl to take up?

If I could finally figure out how to submit a photo here I will post a picture of our simple little jig. It works great and recyclable.
  14. Might someone help me with this?

Must admit I didn't see the RX till you mentioned it. Yeah not good
  15. Looking for a pantone chart to print out

If you have a Roland printer there is a Roland color library that can be imported to Flexi and illustrator. You can print the color chart out, then choose your color needed, very slick. We also have a PDF of the Pantone color chart. We print that out and hang it on the wall. We can then select...
  16. how do you attach your printed vinyl to take up?

I print mostly 54 and some 39 inch banner material. I attached a tail of 54 inch banner material to several cores. The tail is exactly the distance from the edge of the printed vinyl to the core on the take up reel and is attached with banner tape to the core. I have about 5 of these and just...
  17. Frustrating

Whew! Gettin hot up in here.
  18. Adhering plexi on wall, but with face-mounted vinyl on it...

I have to agree with stand off's for sure. They give a very classy look to it for one, but more importantly wont damage the wall as much as vcb. When they go to take it off it will peel large sections of the drywall off as opposed to very tiny holes. Stand offs for sure.
  19. Installing Decals on Baseball Wall Pads

Arlon DPF 8000 that stuff sticks to everything! It's made for bare cement and brick walls.
  20. Somebody just tell me !!!!

Good points. Definitely the EDGE since the production of what you need is a relatively small quantity. I would go with the 15" Gerber plotter to match and then consider a small laminator to protect those prints although the EDGE produces a pretty durable outdoor decal. Wanting to produce and...
