Anyone ever applied 7 year cast or 9 year cast vinyl in raised/text areas to HDU Signs. I was thinking base coat with automotive paint applying vinyl then clearcoating
I have a customer we are quoting some signage for. They have existing signs that are engraved or routed. The color is a yellow/bronze and the engraved part hard to tell turning greenish now. Appears to be some type of bronze or aluminum material? Signs are 45"x63" Any idea where to get these
My customer wants satin. I have looked at sherwin Williams the problem is there is no dealer close to me for automotive
QUOTE=rjssigns;1139496]Why satin paint? Gloss will give better adhesion. Sherwin-Williams Automotive makes some good DTM(direct to metal)paint.
I have some aluminum post and panel sign we made I want to paint them with a satin paint then apply vinyl to them. Can anyone recommend a good paint and primer that will work and still allow the vinyl to adhere properly
