Hey all, just wondering what your favorite vinyl is to use for wraps. I've been out of the industry for years and am now doing installs for a company here in Louisville (premier fleet graphics) and we use 3m 1080 for a lot but I'm wanting to possibly try something else for my motorcycle tank...

I think what we use the majority of the time is 580.... Got some 680 scraps to play with before I drop coin on the black. (By scraps, I mean I could do a couple wheels with it)

We are doing about 120 full color change cars that the printed vinyl was all shipped in with premask on...well, 8 of the 10 pieces had premask. We do the sides with it on but remove it for all the other pieces. Soak the mask with a spray of water, let it sit a minute or two and pull it off...

I just started using the stuff too and wasn't impressed with the cuts I was getting. Then I stared making the cut, hitting it with heat to get the fuzziness out and then pressing it down. Looks awesome now!

Hey guys, I'm back after a 4 year change of plans! Anyway, I'm doing fleet graphics now but am preparing to do something with my motorcycle. I really want to wrap the rims in black reflective but I know the limits of what I can do now without bruising the reflective material. Any suggestions?
