Moze, do you set the temperature on your Dewalt to the ideal temperature and then don't worry about burning the vinyl? even if you barely move the heat gun?
Thanks
hello all.... am having a bit of a problem getting a reliable reading from my laser thermometer when post heating after wrapping parts on a vehicle. but i am seeing in the cowboy catalog some fandangled heat guns that you can dial up the exact temp that is needed to set the vinyl without burning...
yes trust me i would love to just use 3mm polymetal but i have seen before that it will start to waffle if installed on a non solid surface.
and the only problem with covering with red vinyl or just making a print to cover the boards is that they will be butted up to each other forming 2 4x16...

thanks so much guys for all your input. i think i will take your advice and leave it loosely on the core for a day or two before laminating.....:thankyou:
hi folks,
was wondering if anyone could possibly tell me if this is okay to do...
i have heard you should not leave a print wound up on the take up reel. that you should take it off and leave it loosely rolled up in an open area to outgas (which i have always done).
however when printing an...
its hauling grease trap waste....
the thing i hate the most about print/cut is that on prints this big it really gets tough to get the contour cut consistent.
Hello everyone. i am hoping some of you guys would give me your opinion on how i should produce this job. it has a mess of 2 color lettering (black lettering with white outline). it is an awful lot to print and contour cut.
but it is also an awful lot to cut out of black vinyl and white vinyl...
what if you cut it but dont weed it. put transfer tape on entire unweeded graphic. install onto surface, then weed out the unwanted green around the branches on the tree. hope this made since
i see. and yea definitely gonna be doing some practicing soon.
one other thing i didnt mention was my vinyl choice was oracal 3951ra

i have owned a d120 for about 8 years and couldnt be happier with it.
