I am doing some real gold leaf vinyl striping and some clear laminate to put over it. with anyone know of a source to get 2" laminate on a roll? I have to do like 200 feet of striping on a boat, so was trying to cut that much laminate off of a full roll... thanks for any advice

sorry for this basic question. But when you guys say digitally printed heat transfer, i am assuming you dont mean printed/contour cut vinyl. You mean print on a transfer sheet and then lay on top of garment and heat press down, then remove transfer sheet. Am i understanding this correctly...

Could anyone possibly tell me what vinyl works best as a blockout black for a baklit sign? i will be doing a backlit sign soon that will require some of it to be totally light diffused with black vinyl... any help is most appreciative thanks

this is a stupid question.... but if i put some mag on my cutter, how do you cut all the way thru? or do you just score it really deep and just break off the last little bit by hand? i have never tried this so pardon my ignorance thanks

Nevermind.... took the back cover offf and took the 2 fuses out near the power inlet and put them back in and everything working fine:rock-n-roll: thanks to anyone who looked at this thread to offer help....

dont know what in the world i have done wrong. All i did was move my Valuejet 1204 out of the way while I installed some carpet and now it wont power up. have checked all connections atleast 10 times but no joy:banghead: could anyone please help me figure out what went wrong??? thanks so much

my printer is 48" wide. gonna be kinda hard to find 48" rolls of laminate though....

so with my 48" printer i could use 48" laminate without using kraft paper and not worry about getting adhesive on the rolllers? sorry so many questions, just need to figure out what size rolls of laminate i need to buy to run on the laminator. thanks for all your advice

I don't use kraft paper .. I use a coroplast lead board to force the laminate in the rollers and attach my print to the lead board to be carried into the rollers. so you would mean that the roll of laminate that you keep weebed up is not quite as wide as the printed vinyl width that you put...

one other question... my printer is 48" wide. so what would be the widest width of laminate that i should try to use on the 47" wide prints. i guess i am worrying that on a long laminating job that the laminate would wonder off of the vinyl and and start to stick to the rollers. i assume that...
