  1. OKI E64s vs Mimaki JV150

I love latex too, when I can print the same color between two panels that were printed 3 min apart from each other... and btw, your mimaki prices are high from what I'm seeing
  2. material bunching in pinch rollers

    fixed.. thanks!
  3. OKI E64s vs Mimaki JV150

So I have a latex machine but want another eco solvent machine. I had a mimaki for 10 years and had SO much lock with it and really enjoyed the consistent color and dependability. I have a high production shop (5-6 wraps a week) and we already have an HP 560. I just want another machine that is...
  4. material bunching in pinch rollers

HP330 I have the vacuum way up to keep the stuff from bunching... I suppose that's weighing it down?
  5. material bunching in pinch rollers

Hey everyone - I'm printing on Ultraflex C220 6.7oz Polyester and I used to be able to tape it down to the take up roll and be okay and now I can't get enough pressure from the takeup real to not have this stuff bunch up and cause a carriage jam. I would have to physically stand there and...

  8. Need Help 2.5 Years Later - Still Learning Latex

Thanks for your response - I don't have the spectrometer, thats the 360 but we have a 570 on the way
  9. Need Help 2.5 Years Later - Still Learning Latex

    - I did go back to the 10 pass and we're still good with that color - print heads are under 1000ml - did re rip - I always do "optimize print quality" when going from vinyl to a textile or different substrate
  10. Need Help 2.5 Years Later - Still Learning Latex

I understand what you're saying but coming from a solvent world this just makes no sense....more passes....more ink....not LESS DENSITY.... Okay.... so lets say I keep this thing at 10 pass and I already reduced the advanced factor to -5.0 (out of a possible -10.0) - Now what do I do?? Client...
  11. Need Help 2.5 Years Later - Still Learning Latex

HP 330 So I'm trying to print this lexjet/york wallcovering material. It's a thick canvas that has a linen texture to it but for some reason I keep getting banding on one side of the material. (the far side away from the "capping station") So I switched to 12 pass instead of 10 and it helped...
  12. Another L560 Complaint

That's correct. Flexi is VERY buggy and usually shouldn't be trusted. Every time you print you should ALWAYS check all your setting to make sure thats what you want. In terms of my statement above....You need to understand that if your banner material is a different size flexi doesn't know...
  13. Storing Away The L310

still trying to figure out why you're packing it up and storing it??????
  14. Another L560 Complaint

Just another thing to consider - you may not want to be ripping jobs in flexi without the printer being fully woken up. We have constant issues with flexi just changing the media canvas on us at will and we've grown a custom to not trusting it and always wanting to re-read the media.
  15. Storing Away The L310

OP....curious why you're packing this up and storing it?
  16. Another L560 Complaint

    this is flexi man -
  17. Need Help A different RIP discussion

Well, you're a girl, and that'll happen from time to time. This machine is not used for color sensitive projects. But thanks for your "CONCERN" Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. 330 Major Color Consistency Issues

I need to bump this thread - I'm having the same issues.. I CANNOT print the same tile back to back the same color. EVERY piece that comes out of the printer is a different color. I can print 4 blue panels and honestly, they'll all be consistent within their own panels but they'll be all 4...
  19. JV33 to JV300

so we've had our jv33 for 9(ish) years and even though it's a little old and tired this things really runs like a racehorse. We bought an HP 330 2 years ago and hate it. Can't get consistent color to save out life. We've just been fans of the mimaki and its dependability over the years and...
