  1. Anyone know how to calibrate a mimaki CG-130FX?

There's 2 things you can do. First is take off the side cover by the panel and tighten the belt by loosening the screws holding the motor with it and pulling back a little and then tightening the screws. See if that makes any improvement, if not then you can do a calibration with 400mm square...
  2. no cyan

Take off the back panel on the and look at the pumps. One for the cyan could have gone bad, you can test it by doing a DISway under Maintenance. Fill the liquid in the caps and then see if you can see anything coming through the lines as the pumps go.
  3. What is this in my print?

I'm having the same problem too on both my JV3-75s. I just replaced all the dampers and both capping stations and pumps are working great and nozzles are good. I am at loss as what to do. Oh, and cleaned the encoders strips as well with no improvement. I'm starting to wonder if ink isn't the issue.
  4. Encoder strip and sensor cleaning

Well I cleaned them, they didn't seem to be terribly dirty, and ran a couple of test prints with no improvement sadly. My next guess is the docking stations may need to be replaced. Any other guesses?
  5. Encoder strip and sensor cleaning

Great, I will give that a try and hopefully see some results.
  6. Encoder strip and sensor cleaning

I tried searching this and after a dozen or so threads decided to start a new one. I have two JV3-SP IIs and I am trouble with banding as the print heads go across the media. The area closest to the docking station is fine but as the heads move down, it bands. So I replaced all the dampers and...
  7. yellow ink making a mess

I would check your dampers on the yellow, then adjust the capping station. If those don't help, I would replace the capping station. Its quick/easy and fairly cheap.
  8. CG-130fx gone mad

I got mine fixed, all I had to do was tighten the belt. I took off the cover on the right hand side, which exposes the mother board and motor which the belt is attached. I loosened the 3 screws holding the motor and pulled it towards me just a little so it would put just a little more pressure...
  9. CG-130fx gone mad

My 130 just started this as well, it was working fine, then Thursday last week if began cutting progressively too deep in the print images. I am at a loss as what to do as well.
