This was a great thread. I really thought I was the only one with this problem. I have a big Porta Pottie customer and the GF product I was using just wasn't adhering. I'm waiting for the delivery of my first Polar Grip order!!!!

I recently tested the DryTac Polar Grip with a Porta Pottie client. After several weeks, the client said it stayed on much better than the GF product I was using so I ordered a roll. Fingers crossed that it holds on to the plastic.

I hope you're passing the cost of the vectors on to the client somehow!

When I need a vector, I usually troll for free vectors first. If I can't find what I need, I'll use Shutterstock. I'm passing the cost on to the client through design fees anyway so its not like its coming out of my profit. I also reuse vectors that I purchased in the past for other customers...

Wow...thanks for sharing this. I use EFI Printsmith for my commercial printing stuff, but, I have been winging it with large format costing for years. I know I'm very profitable but this will really help me.

I looked at On Print Shop for quite a while. But, in the end, I went with PrintScience which as a very flexible Wordpress package that was way less complicated. I buy from Giant Media frequently and I'm glad I didn't go with On Print Shop now that I've experienced it from the customer...

I usually turn crappy submitted artwork into a nice in-house Graphic Design charge. These are money making opportunities not problems.

I have ordered a sample of the Polar Grip yesterday!

I've not tried to redraw a font in my 20 years as a designer and shop owner. Its just too easy to find free fonts. I'm always amazed at how I can find entire font families.

I have a customer in the Porta Pottie business and cant seem to find an adhesive vinyl that will stick to the weird plastic these outhouses are made from. Would Polar Grip work on that type of plastic in a hot Caribbean environment?

If it were me, I'd clone the HD of the computer and install it in the other machine. Just a thought.
